Centennial Celebration - Photo Gallery

A once-in-a-lifetime experience

More than 25,000 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority converged upon Washington, DC from July 11-18, 2008 for the organization's Centennial international convention. The once-in-a-century celebration was unparalleled in the Sorority's 100-year history because it shattered all attendance records. Most of all, it provided a rare opportunity for members to celebrate AKA's legacy.

This photo gallery captures some of the memories of the Centennial convention by highlighting the joy and pride that members felt as AKA's hundred years of service was showcased.
