Insurance giant GEICO has teamed with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority to provide members with competitive rates for homeowners, renters, vehicle, boats and recreational vehicles.

The partnership is a multi-year agreement that will generate funds for the Sorority whenever members link onto the website and secure a quote.

To take advantage of this program and to get competitive quotes, members must log onto the “Members Only” section of www.aka1908.com and then select News & Events to be directed to the appropriate link.

The goals of this novel program are to provide members with the best insurance products and cost-effective quotes while generating funds for the Sorority whenever a quote or query is made through the website.

As an added dimension to the partnership, GEICO will support the Undergraduates' “Distracted Driver Awareness Program,” one of the signature programs under the Sorority's health initiative that is embraced under the new administration's theme, “Global Leadership through Timeless Service.”

In making the announcement, Alpha Kappa Alpha's international president Carolyn House Stewart said that the alliance is another example of the benefits of being an active member.
