Sorority Supports Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in Denouncing Release of "Stomp the Yard"

International President Barbara A. McKinzie announced the Sorority’s support of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity in its denunciation of the film, Stomp the Yard, and its producers, Rainforest Productions, Sony Pictures and others. McKinzie applauded Alpha Phi Alpha and its General President Darryl R. Matthews, Sr., for leadership in urging the Greek community to reject this film. She directed members of Alpha Kappa Alpha to read the memorandum from Mr. Matthews to gain a full appreciation of the legal violations that prompted this call to action.
